Once upon a time, there was a man called Mr B who loved hats. He had lots of colourful hats. Early one morning, he went to buy a new hat. He arrived at his favourite hat shop and looked at the rows of beautiful hats. On the top shelf, a special hat caught his eye. Mr B bought the hat and took it home. He put the hat on the table and it began to shake. So he put on the hat and suddenly he began to spin round. He opened his eyes and he couldn’t believe where he was…
Note for teachers:
Please write the next section of the story. Describe where Mr B has travelled to and what he does there. At the end your section, get Mr B to put the hat back on and travel to the next place. The next school will start his new adventure.

Mr B couldn’t see anything at all to start with. But then, he began to be able to see again and went to look for someone to help him to build a house. As he was walking, he slowly got bigger and bigger and bigger until he turned into a giant. He was tall and gigantic. He didn’t manage to find anything but a wolf in the woods who seemed very scared of him because he was so big! Then he got hungry so he found some things to eat in the woods. He ate an apple and then he ate too many and he got so sick that he was sick. After he was sick, he exploded and then became a normal size again. He started to lift off the ground and rocketed into the air. When he next opened his eyes, he was safely tucked up in his bed.

Mr B was in Butterfly land! He could see thousands and thousands of colourful, rainbow butterflies fluttering everywhere! All of a sudden one of the beautiful butterflies fluttered onto his hand and it began to talk.
“Hello. Welcome to butterfly land!”said the butterfly. “Here there are no rules, you can go and explore and have fun!”
Mr B was amazed! So he went to explore.
Unfortunately a big bad butterfly came and tried to destroy Butterfly land. Luckily Mr B found his hat and put it back on his head. Finally Mr B was back at home!
